"I can't wait to get my hands on them...."
The demand for tickets/season passes, jerseys and other merchandises and yes, even more seats in the Jalan Besar Stadium (on top of the additional stand proposed) is heating up online.
In the papers, there is news on local football or Malaysian football at the very least, finally.
Interestingly, we can do this for our return to the Malaysia Cup. Signs of interests towards local football is slowly creeping back and hopefully, this romance will last long, for those longing for the return.
But wait, the all usual interesting transfer merry-go-round is also happening in the S-League. Champions Stags are retaining most of their key players and signing new foreign players, SAFFC have again overhauled their entire squad, Albirex have lost key players while Home United too is having a massive overhaul, losing some key players in the process.
Owh wait, some of us want season passes, jerseys and merchandises for our S-League clubs too.
Geylang United marketing and media team is slowly but commendably generating more interest and printing scarfs for their fans. Hougang United have done so last year and hopefully they can strengthen their fanbase as well. Young Lions did it fairly well at the start of last season. And hopefully, all the other clubs will follow suit!
It's all about mentality right?
If u can create so much hype as stakeholders and fans for the return to the Malaysia Cup, then surely, you can create that hype for the S-League too right? :)
