Don't Forget Your S-League Day Special! : 1/1/2012
When we were gathering at Somerset MRT station before the event, a middle aged male approached us in his bicycle helmet and politely asked one of us " Are you guys the ones organizing the event? I read in the papers and want to check out what you are doing... I cycled all the way here!" ....

During the walkabout session, one man in his Spain jersey kindly stopped to just listen to us talking about the S-League and he said that he will try to attend one of the games next season to check it out.

Such was our experience during our "Don't Forget Your S-League Day" that we were encouraged by the fact that while many recognized that the S-League may not be the best in the world or being overshadowed by the return to the Malaysia Cup, there is still hope.
Former Woodlands Coach , Venga was also there to throw his support. And so did one former member of the SAFFC management team.

Members of the LATW Crew walked around for two hours , talking to strangers and faced countless of rejections but we persevered, believing that what they do can help Singapore football and help their beloved S.League.

To us, it is never about the glory. If we were in it for the glory, we would all be gone when the national team has been losing. We would all be gone and throw our S.League jerseys since all the hype is about the Malaysia Cup return.

But our hope and plea to the people that run the S.League is to also believe, like us.

We hope that the management will throw even more effort to boost the S.League. We hope that clubs will take themselves more seriously. And we hope the players too play their part not just in providing good quality football but be disciplined off it and train your hardest, each and every time.

No more brawls, no more poor referee standards, no more playing around.
2012 is the year the S.League and Singapore football will rise again.
And our plea to all other Singaporeans ; GIVE YOUR S-LEAGUE A CHANCE.....
