Of happy road trips and thrilling Lion City Cup

We welcome Man City, Porto, Vasco da Gama and Ajax. Peace, no violence, See u at the Gallery!

It was an unforgettable away day to the Shah Alam Stadium in our very own LATW chartered bus where 31  of us went up to the territory of our biggest rivals, just days after the causeway derby leg in Singapore.

It was sad that the exciting match in Singapore was marred by some people who chose their ego over everything else, ending up in the much publicized chaos outside of the Jalan Besar.

Alas of course, we did welcome our opponents graciously, even sharing some chats over some beverages before the game.

Of course there were some fears going up due to the issue but hey, we went up there for one thing only and that is to support OUR LIONS. Alongside the other fans that braved the road trip, we persevered and supported the Lions.

The loss was a bitter pill to swallow but that's football. You win some, you lose some.

But at least, there was pride. Pride in wearing the red of singapore, pride in wearing our LATW Crew tee in front of thousands of opposing fans and pride in singing our hearts out. Whatever the circumstances is, we took a stand to not shy away from the obstacles and will be there behind the Lions.

And come this Saturday, we are set for another tough week as we back up our NFA boys with the rest of Singapore as two of our teams go head to head with some of the best youth teams in the world.

The tie against Man City will be interesting and we sure welcome the bantering from the newly crowned premiership champions. Well, bantering is part and parcel of football anyway!

So what are you waiting for? Get your tickets, wear red, and get behind our lads!

Come on you CUBS!
