Thank you for yet another exciting Lion City Cup!

The two Lion City Cup teams may not end the tournament as they would like to but the under 15s and the under 16 Singapore teams can hold their heads up high, knowing that they not only gave a good account of themselves on the pitch but off it, they made people happy.

The under 15 team, despite having been beaten convincingly have shown that in defeat, you still ought to try your very best, even if it means running for the ball till the final second. And players like Royston Tan have shown that you should not shy away from challenges even if odds are stacked against you.

We all know about Adam Swandi and his skills. He deserves all the plaudits for his breathtaking talent. But then again, take nothing away from his teammates who gave their all. Football is after all a team game and like what coach Dejan has emphasized, it is all about the team. So take a bow, each and everyone of you for the amazing performances you have put in during this tournament.

And for all the memories and experiences that we have shared from supporting you from the stands and singing with the players and coaches after the games, we, the LATW crew would like to thank each and everyone of you for this amazing experience.
